Breeders’ Cup next up for Lyons’ Molecomb winner

LADY IMAN clawed back some funds on a brutal day for punters in the HKJC World Pool Molecomb Stakes.

A crowd of more than 16,000 people at the course watched as one by one the favourites were sunk in Sussex.

But the 11-8 favourite provided a little respite when she put the result beyond doubt with a smart injection of pace.

Lady Iman crossed the line with a length-and-a-half to spare over 11-1 shot Argentine Tango, the pair of fillies beating the six colts in the field, the closest of which was Kevin Ryan’s Dickensian, a half-length further back.
