Jail recall hunt for ‘Morgan Freeman’
POLICE are hunting a man with the same name as Shawshank Redemption film star Morgan Freeman — in order to send him back to prison.
Avon and Somerset Police have released an appeal in the hope of finding wanted Freeman.
The force said he has been reported as failing to comply with licence conditions.
Due to sharing a famous name the force’s appeal for the runaway went viral, with people suggesting he had escaped from Shawshank State Prison, in reference to the Hollywood blockbuster that starred his namesake.
