Goal machine Isak's incredible streak has Newcastle dreaming

GO through the Newcastle checklist and the results send out an ominous warning to their rivals.

Winning consistently - tick. They go into tomorrow's home game against Bournemouth bidding for a record-breaking 10 victories in a row.

Solid defence - tick. Since mid-December, the Magpies have kept six clean sheets in nine games, conceding a solitary goal in each of the other three matches.

Midfield mastery tick. Sandro Tonali's switch to No.6 has proved the catalyst, and his partnership with Brazilian pair Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes is now rated arguably the best in the country.

Scoring goals tick. Especially at home, with the sequence reading 3, 4, 3, 3, 3, 3. On their travels, they are averaging more than two goals per game since the start of December.
