Take heart! Dad is world beater after death scare

GUTSY Alex Hunt feared death when he was diagnosed with a killer heart condition but pulled on his trainers instead and has just become a Guinness World Records holder.

Alex, 37, was found to have a malformed aortic heart valve three years ago. It should have three flaps for good blood flow but he only had two.

Left untreated it could have led to heart failure so he underwent surgery to have a new bicuspid aortic valve inserted.

The brush with death might have convinced the lawyer, who specialises in preparing wills, to take things easy.
