A FULL-SCALE wooden ship is set to make an unusual journey - to become part of a playground built in honour of the late Princess Diana.
Final touches are being made to the £3million attraction, which will be the new centrepiece of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Playground next to her old Kensington Palace home.
The play equipment was specially built in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps, and staff from Royal Parks inspected the galleon in Germany before it comes to London.
