Ruling elite's love of open borders has created a nightmare

BRITAIN is in the middle of a profoundly dangerous ideological experiment that threatens to tear apart the fabric of our society. As effective border controls break down and mass immigration soars, the concept of British citizenship is becoming meaningless.

Our heritage is trashed, our culture derided, and our safety B ignored. We live in a fractured land where the rights of foreign criminals often count for more than those of British taxpayers, where the rule of law has been replaced by the rule of lawyers and where the Christian faith is no longer treated as the bedrock of our civilisation but merely a flag of convenience for illegal migrants to justify their claims for settlement here.

The sense of despair at the accelerating transformation of our country has shattered support for the Government. Since taking office in 2010 the Tories repeatedly promised to "bring down the numbers" of new arrivals but instead have presided over a rise in legal immigration to an incredible net annual figure of 745,000, while illegal crossings of the Channel continue to rise.
