Reform must prove it can deliver on promises

NIGEL Farage is right to say the chaos in our immigration system must be brought to an end. It can’t make sense to house thousands of asylum seekers in expensive hotels across the country.

And there is no reason to admit would-be migrants who cross the Channel illegally in small dinghies. No politician defends what’s happening. None of them pretend it’s a good thing. However, nobody who has been in power in recent years has managed to end the madness.
