DAVID RAYA has revealed one of the key secrets to Arsenal's astonishing defensive record.

The Gunners secured their seventh clean sheet in a row all of them victories.

This win came courtesy of goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice, with Mikel Arteta delighted with his side's efforts in Lancashire.

The Spain goalkeeper had been largely untested in October, as Arsenal became the first English topflight side to go a month winning six games and conceding no goals.

They have now started November in the same manner, and Raya admitted that the record comes from more than just the work of the back four in front of him.

“It's incredible” Raya said. “Not just the defence, it’s a collective achievement. It starts from the striker, finishing with the goalkeeper. It's just incredible to have that work rate from everyone.
