MARCUS RASHFORD may believe he has shut the door on one unwelcome taskmaster.

If he believes Aston Villa's Unai Emery is any less burdensome, he had better think again. He will have merely jumped from frying pan into another.

With Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim's barbs about his commitment and application still ringing in his ears, the 27-year-old may think he has escaped for a quieter life. That is not going to happen.

Emery's grasp of the English language is growing but one word peppers his public briefings - demanding.

He uses it frequently to describe how he drives his players on.

If there is a pushback against this, Rashford will quickly discover he will be left on the outside, looking in.
