Pots of gold...pair's 8,500 teapots may fetch £80k

A COUPLE who built up the UK’s largest collection of teapots hope to bag £80,000 by auctioning them.

Sue and Keith Blayze showcased 8,540 novelty and classic pots at the Teapot Island Museum in Yalding, Kent, attracting the King and Queen.

But after closing the venue they have decided to part with the collection - apart from 180 favourite items.
