Police probe hospital death of disabled man

POLICE have launched an investigation into the hospital death of a young disabled man highlighted by the Daily Express
Grieving father Jay Patel has welcomed the probe after his son Balram, 30, died at St Thomas' Hospital in London.
Jay, 58, watched his life ebb away as vital treatment was, he claims, delayed and finally came too late.
Scotland Yard said: "Police were contacted on September 29 by the family of 30-year-old man who died at St Thomas' Hospital on August 9, concerning the care provided both in hospital and at home before he was re-admitted.
"Inquiries are ongoing.' Jay has founded Patients Lives Matter to call for an independent group to investigate hospital blunders.
