Painkillers 'linked to hearing loss'

REGULAR use of some over-the-counter painkillers could raise the risk of hearing loss, a top pharmacist has claimed.
Taking some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin, often may also increase the chance of tinnitus — a constant ringing or buzzing in the ears, said Dr Leyla Hannbeck.
It affects an estimated 7.6 million people in the UK
