Pacific grin! Trio rowing from Peru to Australia

THREE young British women are preparing for an attempt to become the first trio to row 8,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean non-stop and without support.

Miriam Payne, Lottie HopkinsonWoolley, both 24, and Jess Rowe, 27, will set off from Peru, South America, next April and row west until they reach Australia. They are expecting to spend up to six months at sea.
