FANS were ecstatic as they met another American icon who promises to turn round a struggling football side.
Birmingham City FC supporters are hoping NFL legend Tom Brady will sprinkle the Stateside magic - and cash - that has seen stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney propel Wrexham FC back into the Football League.
The Blues have been languishing in the Championship since being demoted from the Premier League in 2011.
Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl winner, received a hero's welcome in two Blues pubs near St Andrew's stadium while watching City for the first time as new part-owner.
