'New chapter' for Patrick but LIV bosses will Reed it & weep

PATRICK REED launched “a new chapter” in his career in his first event since quitting LIV yesterday - and declared: “I can't wait for it to get really rolling”.
The American announced on Wednesday he will not be signing a new contract with the Saudi-backed league and will return to the PGA Tour later this year.
It is the latest blow to LIV Golf after Brooks Koepka’s defection with Harris English claiming that “the dominoes are starting to fall”.
Reed shot an opening 71 at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship on the DP World Tour - and has also added next week's Qatar Masters to his schedule. After winning the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on Sunday, the 2018 Masters champion revealed he was out of contract at LIV Golf.
He then announced he will now play on the DP World Tour until he can return to the PGA Tour in August.
