Zoe Maguire-Wilkinson took to social media after the £190,000-a-week ace endured torrents of abuse for his own goal during the Three Lions' clash with Scotland on Tuesday night. England still comfortably won 3-1.

The star, who has 59 caps and has continued to play for the national side despite being out of favour with his club Manchester United, has endured ridicule across social media.

He has suffered terrace taunts from fans of both England and United as well as from rival supporters.

Proud mum Zoe has travelled the world supporting her son. But after the latest barrage of vitriol, she took on the trolls on Instagram.
