MPs to discuss stripping Andrew of his dukedom

PRINCE Andrew is facing fresh humiliation as MPs plot over passing a law to take away his title of duke.

The rare move could also see parliament debating whether to banish the royal, inset, from his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion in Windsor where he pays a “peppercorn” rent.

It would defy years of convention that usually prevents politicians from criticising the Royal Family.

Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran told Times Radio: “We need to look at all options, one of those might be an opposition day debate.

“First of all, there’s huge public interest in the money but also we just can’t keep going on with another weekend, another set of headlines about Prince Andrew.
