THE SCORELINE speaks for itself - but this will go down in City Ground folklore as Matt Turner's match.

New Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo and his merry men might have ended a 29-year wait for a win over Manchester United.

But the star of the show was goalkeeper Turner on a night when the American went from zero to hero in the blink of an eye.

Going into the late stages, Forest were doggedly protecting Nicolas Dominguez's second-half side-foot finish.

Turner, who had looked nervous with the ball at his feet, attempted a pass to Danilo.

It was cut out by Alejandro Garnacho, whose brilliant piece of quick-thinking allowed Marcus Rashford to level.

A collective groan swept around the stadium.
