Lovers' suicide plot to murder husband

A WOMAN who plotted with her lover to murder her husband so they could live together was yesterday jailed for 19 years. Michelle Mills and Geraint Berry planned to make it seem as though Christopher Mills had killed himself.

A WOMAN who plotted with her lover to murder her husband so they could live together was yesterday jailed for 19 years.

Michelle Mills and Geraint’ Berry planned to make it seem as though Christopher Mills had killed himself.

Berry recruited Steven Thomas for the attack at the Mills’ static caravan. They had imitation guns, gas masks, pliers and cable ties.

Mr Mills was badly hurt but managed to fight them off and the pair fled, while his wife called 999 around 11.30pm to report that he had suffered a head injury at the hands of masked attackers. Mr Justice Nicklin jailed Mills, 46, of Llanelli, and Berry, 47, of Swansea, for 19 years each for conspiracy to murder.
