Last call to family was 2010

A MUM missing for 15 years was found cut up in bin bags in a rough garden grave after being murdered by her partner, jurors heard.

Anna Podedworna had spent years trying to cover up her killing of Izabela Zablocka, a court heard.

The pair had a “stormy” relationship before Ms Zablocka, 30, was allegedly murdered between August 27 and October 1, 2010. Podedworna, 40, had an interpreter’s help as her case began at Derby crown court.

Gordon Aspden KC, prosecuting, said Ms Zablocka had grown up in Trzebiatow in northwest Poland.

He went on: “Izabela married a local Polish man and gave birth to a daughter. They separated and soon afterwards Izabela began a sexual relationship with this defendant.”
