Impaled by a spike and I felt nothing

A MUM who was skewered by a 2ft spike while mowing her lawn is keeping it as a souvenir.

Kaylee Malone, 31, heard a “loud and aggressive” noise coming from her mower but she did not feel a thing.

It was only when she looked down to see what she had hit that she noticed the huge spike piercing her calf.

With her baby son in a carrier on her back the deck hand and student called emergency services.
