Ikitau delivers warning from Wallabies

AUSTRALIA midfielder Len Ikitau predicts Joe Schmidt's side are ready to commit another Twickenham heist against England next weekend.

- ADAM HATHAWAY

The centre, who played all three Tests as the Aussie outsiders ran the Lions close in the summer, has just joined Exeter after riding the wave of his country’s resurgence.

Disgraced by a pool-stage elimination at the 2023 World Cup under Eddie Jones, Australia are back on track and even beat South Africa, at Johannesburg's Ellis Park, in the Rugby Championship two months ago.

Ikitau was part of a win that showcased the revolution under Schmidt (right) 12 months ago, when they arrived unfancied in London and beat England 42-37 at the death.

That served notice the Wallabies mean business ahead of hosting the 2027 World Cup and Ikitau believes there is more where that came from.
