Nurse suspended for misgendering sex offender is reinstated
A NURSE suspended for “misgendering” a sex offender was celebrating last night after she was reinstated by the NHS.
Emotional Jennifer Melle, 40, broke down and fell to the floor at the end of a two-hour disciplinary hearing.
She said: “I am deeply relieved and grateful to hear no further action will be taken against me.
“This has been an incredibly long and painful journey and I want to give thanks, first and foremost, to Jesus, who has sustained me every step of the way.
“I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has stood with me, prayed for me and supported me through the darkest moments.
“Your encouragement has meant more than you will ever know.”

Ider savers are being urged to spring into action as the annual Cash ISA deadline looms on April 5, as they are least likely to shop around for a better rate. As well as finding a best-buy rate for this year's contributions, they should also check they are getting a decent return on previous ISAs.
