Red Arrows lesson inspires Borthwick to put on display
STEVE BORTHWICK predicted the sky is the limit for his England team after a visit to see the Red Arrows.
Borthwick and his coaching staff visited the aerobatics display team at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire before Christmas to talk teamwork, adaptability and organisation.
They sat in on a post-flight debrief with pilots headed by Squadron Leader Jon Bond, team leader and Red 1.
And Borthwick revealed the lessons learnt as England aim to get their Six Nations off to a flying start against Wales on 7 February.
The head coach said: “The lead pilot talked about what he wants from his team members and how much time he spent talking.
