OPERA-singing advert star Wynne Evans finished on a high note as he won Celebrity MasterChef last night
The face of comparison site Go Compare beat 19 other celebrities to the title. Wynne, 51, is best known as the comic character Gio Compario.
He admitted he would have to up his game at home, saying: "The kids will love this, they'll be like 'Dad! I can't believe you did it when all you cook for us is beans on toast"."
He praised hosts Gregg Wallace and John Torode, declaring: "The experience has totally changed my life. It has just been beautiful and I can't thank Gregg and John and everybody here at MasterChef enough."
