Heartless PM badly lets down our WW2 veterans

THIS shameless Labour Government has betrayed Britain’s surviving veterans of the Second World War. It turns out the Government will only help these heroic individuals attend ceremonies around the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day in Britain next month.

Sir Keir Starmer has not committed to help veterans travel to attend services marking D-Day in June or the Battle of Arnhem in September.

Last week, the Government assured the Daily Express that journeys to these solemn events would be funded.

Now it says support will only be available for events in this country. It is one thing to be shambolic and incompetent. It is another to be heartless and cruel.
