Red-hot Harry ready to step up in trio's African absence

HARRY WILSON may be Fulham's inform ace - but the Wales international might have to go up another level if manager Marco Silva is going to cope with an AFCON nightmare.

Wilson continued to be the Cottagers' main man with a goal and two assists in a victory that he insists will leave Silva's side looking up rather than over their shoulders at the unfolding relegation battle.

But they face a trip to Newcastle in the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday without Nigerian trio Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze and they could be missing for up to a month if their country goes all the way in the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Wilson, who has now either scored a goal or created one in each of his last four games, said: "Obviously we lose the three AFCON boys now.
