WAY TO GO JOE Burgess celebrates with Tom Amone

WILLIE PETERS admitted he felt some relief after watching his defending champions secure their first Super League win of the season.

The head coach had demanded a response from the Robins following their Las Vegas nightmare, where they were thumped 58-6 by Leeds.

Back on English soil, they produced a clinical and professional display to cruise past injury-hit Huddersfield and collect their first points.

“Obviously there's a bit of relief to finally get some points,” Peters (inset) said.

“We wanted to compete hard and improve our defence, and we thought we did that.

“We wanted to narrow our focus to defence - that was everything for us. We believe that if our defence is solid, the points will come off the back of that.
