Germany and India match UK as investment magnets

THE UK strengthened its position as a global investment hub over the past year as it worked to offset competition from other countries, but two still caught up.

Britain remained the second most attractive destination for international investment for chief executives last year, according to a PwC survey, though it now shares the position with Germany and India.

All three were cited as locations likely to receive the greatest share of investment this year at 13% each, marking a 1% drop for the UK and a 1% rise for Germany.
