German migrant crackdown could send more to UK

MIGRANTS have said they will be heading to the UK after Germany revealed plans to build a giant deportation centre for asylum seekers.
Brandenburg's state interior minister, Katrin Lange, has said a "departure centre" will be created in Eisenhuttenstadt, on Germany's border with Poland.
Politicians say it will speed up the process of removing people who arrived in Germany after claiming international protection elsewhere in the EU.
It comes as a hard-right party is expected to come second for the first time since the Second World War when Germany heads for the ballot box on Sunday.
