Four dead in horror car crash

THREE teenagers and a man in his 50s were killed as a car and a taxi crashed in the early hours yesterday.

A driver and two passengers, believed to be aged 18 and 19, died as their red Seat Leon collided with a Citroen C4 Picasso taxi, whose driver was also killed.

Five injured passengers have been taken to hospital following the tragedy in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

Formal identification of the victims was yet to take place last night.

But the three Seat victims were named locally as Muhammad Danyaal Asghar Ali, Farhan Patel and Mohammed Jibrael Mukhtar, all from the Bolton area.

The cab driver was named as Mosrab Ali, of nearby Blackburn.
