HANGING AROUND Ford training this week ahead of Argentina Test
GEORGE FORD'S desire to “always want more” are the key factors behind his reestablishment as England's first-choice fly-half, according to teammate Tom Curry.
Ford's boot was vital in England's 33-19 victory against New Zealand on Saturday, with two nerveless drop goals keeping the hosts in contention in the first half and his tactical kicking an integral part of his sides aerial strategy. The 32-year-old, who earned his 100th cap last summer, is just as valuable an influence off the field and Curry (right) was full of praise for a player he has worked with at close quarters for club and country over several years:
“What sets him apart as a leader from a lot of other people, is that what he says reflects exactly what he does,’ he said.
