Film boss' £1bn sex damages

JURORS have awarded £1.3billion in damages to 40 women who accused Oscar-nominated filmmaker James Toback of sexual abuse and other crimes over 35 years, according to their lawyers.
It stems from a legal case filed in 2022 after New York state officials set up a year-long window for people to file sexual assault claims, even from decades ago.
