SAINT OUT TO GO ONE BETTER

- By Adam Hathaway

HENRY POLLOCK was on an all-day bender the last time he went to a Champions Cup semi-final in Dublin.

Today he is on a different sort of mission — to make the final.

Man-of-the-moment Pollock lines up for Northampton as they take on fourtime tournament winners and hot favourites Leinster at the Aviva Stadium.

Twelve months ago, the back-rower was not in Saints matchday 23 when they headed to face the same opponents in the last four at Croke Park in the Irish capital.

Instead, Pollock, 20 in January, got the full fan experience with a group of 10 academy players who partied from one morning to the next and did not even book a hotel.

Pollock admits he had no clue at the time that a year on he would running out in the rematch.
