FORMER top jockey Dominic Elsworth is launching his training career after helping hundreds of people to turn their lives around.
The Grade One-winning rider will travel to Catterick this afternoon to saddle Emerald Time in the closing bumper.
The track was where the 44-year-old celebrated his first winner on Sue Smith-trained hurdler Moonshine Dancer in 1999.
Elsworth, who competed in Aintree’s Grand National on eight occasions, retired in 2014 and has since led a groundbreaking employment project in the sport.
