A HISTORY hunter inspired by Indiana Jones will be minted when 685 Roman coins he found go under the hammer.
The stash, estimated to be 2,000 years old, is expected to fetch £75,000.
It was discovered in a newly harvested barley field by George Ridgway, 34, who works for his family's butcher business when he is not metal detecting.
He said he "couldn't believe" what he found and called his father to guard the site overnight until an archaeological team could arrive the next day.
