Kerr targets showdown with Ingebrigtsen and Wightman

JOSH KERR heads into Olympic year insisting he feels no fear in going from hunter to the hunted. 

Britain’s 1500m world champion has a target on his back following his shock win over middle-distance great Jakob Ingebrigtsen in Budapest in August.

The Norwegian is out for revenge while Jake Wightman, whom Kerr succeeded as champion, is fit again after injury prevented his title defence.

But rather than being daunted by the prospect, Kerr says the 2024 Paris Games are the Olympics he has dreamt about since he was 14 – and his path to the August 6 final is already mapped out.
