Corrupt 'Sheriff of Soho' police sergeant jailed for seven and a half years

A CORRUPT police officer who was nicknamed "the Sheriff of Soho" has been jailed for seven and a half years after being caught out by footage that showed him being whipped by a Catwoman dominatrix.
Ex-sergeant Frank Partridge was tasked with policing London's West End but instead took bribes from club bosses and security staff who wanted him "in their pocket".
In return for turning a blind eye to fights, sex attacks and licensing issues, Partridge received "gifts" including an £8,000 family holiday to Morocco, a bespoke monogrammed £1,350 suit and tickets to watch rock band Metallica perform in Milan.
Partridge, 50, was also treated to hotel stays and free meals and drinks in smart bars and restaurants while working with the Westminster licensing unit from 2013 to 2015.
But he was snared after detectives found a video of him being whipped by the woman.
