Coop 'translates chicken clucking'

MOVE over Einstein. Meet Albert Eggstein the AI system behind a high-tech chicken coop that can tell us exactly what the birds are clucking about.

Called the Coop, it allows the birds' owners to monitor their chickens 24 hours a day.
Controlled via a smartphone app, the system can translate chickens' clucking so owners can decipher just what they are saying to each other.
It makes use of sound detection software to measure the decibels and patterns of clucks and chirps in order to establish the mood of the birds. Its creators say the eggs-acting software is capable of detecting if the birds are hungry, happy, broody, or even in danger.
