A TOP chef has transformed traditional fish and chips into a luxury meal that will leave most wallets battered.
Tom Kerridge, 51, is serving our national dish for £270 during an exclusive evening at his restaurant inside posh store Harrods.
The venue, opened by the TV chef in 2021, has already faced a backlash over its prices and was dubbed Britain's most expensive fish and chips at £35 a portion.
