Charles 'on better side' of his cancer treatment

THE King yesterday revealed he believes he is on the “better side” of his cancer treatment.

- By Emily Ferguson Royal Editor

Charles delivered the good news while chatting to Bradford business owner and fellow cancer survivor Safeena Khan, during a royal visit to the 2025 City of Culture.

Ms Khan said: “He asked me how I was, and I asked him how he was.”

The King then gave Safeena the “thumbs-up” and told her: “I'd like to think I’m on the better side.”

Florist Safeena presented Charles with a bouquet inspired by his gardens at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.

She added: “There were some pleasantries towards the end, but it was a lovely conversation.”

Charles, 76, was diagnosed with cancer in February last year.

He is still having regular treatment and in March was briefly hospitalised after suffering from temporary side effects.

He received the warmest of welcomes in Bradford, particularly from a teenage girl who broke with usual royal convention and gave him a great big hug.

Florence McGillis, 15, who has Down’s Syndrome, threw her arms around a beaming Charles as he arrived at an art gallery and later described the experience as: “Awesome!”

Having read his explosive Insta post I felt weird about Brooklyn... pity

I ALWAYS had Brooklyn Beckham down as a thick, spoiled, entitled nepo baby — the kind of young man who, thank God, was born into huge wealth and privilege, because it was clear he wasn’t equipped to make his own way in the world.
