Chancellor is targeted more as a woman, says Starmer

RACHEL Reeves faces more abuse because she is a woman, Sir Keir Starmer suggested yesterday.

The Chancellor complained about “mansplaining” as she hit out at critics ahead of her Budget on Wednesday.

And speaking to reporters at the G20 summit in South Africa, the Prime Minister insisted that women in public life “get much more criticism and abuse than men”.
