It seems our two rabbits have caught ear mites from a rescue kitten we've just rehomed.

They developed crusts in their ears and were shaking their heads. The kitten is being treated with ear drops but we are not allowed to put these in our rabbits' ears as it can harm them. Is it difficult to get rid of the mites?
