Pair picking up mum 'deny' police attack
TWO brothers have faced court for the first time accused of assaulting police officers in a disturbance at Manchester Airport. Footage of the fracas at Terminal Two on July 23 was widely shared online.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, of Rochdale, is alleged to have assaulted PC Lydia Ward and PC Zachary Marsden, causing actual bodily harm.
He is also accused of assaulting PC Ellie Cook by beating as well as the common assault of member of the public, Abdulkareem Ismael, at the airport the same day.
