SEVEN in 10 women eligible for breast cancer screenings were up to date in England last year - a record, the NHS revealed.
This meant 4.61 million showed up for their mammogram, inset, which are offered to 50 to 71-yearolds on a three-yearly cycle.
The number of women taking up the invite rose to 70% in 2024 alone, up from 64.6%. Around 2.5 million women were asked to book an appointment with 1.75 million attending.
