HERE'S Billy the Kid in all his glory... thanks to a British restorer and the magic of Photoshop.
Billy the Kid in a tintype from 1879 or 1880. He is said to have been left-handed.
Nick Harris spent weeks working on the only authenticated image of the legendary gunfighter.
He used a high-resolution version of the 1880 photo recorded on metal in Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
The original is faint, scratched and so worn by time that Billy's features are almost impossible to make out.
Nick cropped the frame to focus solely on the outlaw's face then rebuilt lost detail using Photoshop.
