THE good times continue for Bob Macintyre after the inform Scot followed up Ryder Cup glory with victory at St Andrews at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

MacIntyre closed out a four-shot victory over European teammate Tyrrell Hatton with a third successive 66 in an event cut short by a round after the disruption caused by Saturday's storms.

And the 29-year-old admitted afterwards he surprised himself with the quality of his golf, as he was still in party mode.

“I've done everything against the book this week, from preparation - I pitched up Wednesday afternoon - to the diet which has not been good” MacIntyre said.
