BBC Saturday Kitchen chef Russell Norman dies at age 57

AWARD-winning restaurateur and Saturday Kitchen chef Russell Norman was called an "icon and inspiration" last night after his death aged 57 was announced.
The pioneer, who had appeared on the BBC show and had his own BBC Two series The Restaurant Man, died on Thursday, reportedly from a cardiac arrest.
His loss came just weeks after his fourth cookbook Brutto was published.
Russell was dubbed the "new king of Soho dining" in 2021, after coming up with the idea of small Italian plates and reviving the Negroni cocktail.
