SECURITY around Windsor Castle was tightened last night ahead of US president Donald Trump and first lady Melania's state visit today.
Police conducted searches while American Marine Corps helicopters circled above, as a 7ft green fence was put up around the whole of the castle.
The heightened security comes after Mr Trump faced an attempted assassination attempt in the run up to the US presidential election last year.
