Arsonists acted for Russia's Wagner group

THREE men have been found guilty of an arson attack on a warehouse linked to Ukraine on behalf of Russian terror group Wagner.

About £1million of damage was caused by the blaze at a unit in Leyton, East London, in March last year, the Old Bailey was told.

Nii Mensah, 23, of Thornton Heath, South London, livestreamed on his phone as he and Jakeem Rose, 23, from nearby Croydon, started the fire and fixer Ugnius Asmena, 20, of no fixed address, waited in a car, jurors heard.

The attack was orchestrated by Dylan Earl, 20, of Elmesthorpe, Leics, with Gatwick airport cleaner Jake Reeves, 23, of Croydon, who targeted the warehouse because it was being used to supply aid and satellite equipment to Ukraine.
